CARLOS CESAR AVILA
BLEND PEABERRY PULP WASHED
The Caracolito (peaberry in English) is known for its round shape and its single seed in the cherry. This anomaly in the coffee tree turns the bean into a snail shell, hence its Spanish name, Caracolito (small snail).
More nutrients are thus concentrated into this single bean, resulting in a remarkable accumulation of flavours. Additionally, during the roasting process the bean geometry favours the uniform roasting and even caramelization.
Thanks to its particularity, this small coffee bean releases intense and elegant notes of almond and chocolate.
